Medical & Coaching Disclaimer
1. Not medical advice — period
All content on the Platform — training programs, exercise demos, nutrition guidance, meal templates, macro recommendations, supplement suggestions, mindset frameworks, habit prescriptions, body-map visualizations, AI-generated outputs, written and spoken guidance from your coach — is general educational information for healthy adults.
It is not medical, nutritional, psychological, or physical-therapy advice. It is not a diagnosis. It is not a treatment plan. It does not replace the relationship you have with your physician, registered dietitian, psychologist, physical therapist, or other licensed healthcare provider.
2. Always consult a licensed professional
You agree to consult a qualified, licensed healthcare professional before:
- Starting any new training program or exercise routine
- Changing your nutrition, calories, macros, or meal structure
- Starting, stopping, or changing any supplement or medication
- Acting on any lab result, biomarker reading, or health metric
- Modifying your routine if you are pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding, recovering from injury, recovering from surgery, managing a chronic condition (diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, autoimmune, etc.), have an eating disorder history, or take any prescription medication
- Using any AI-extracted value (e.g. a marker pulled from a lab photo)
3. Coaching scope vs medical scope
What coaching IS:
- Helping you build habits and routines
- Designing fitness programs for general health and performance
- Educating you on nutrition principles and meal structure
- Tracking and reflecting your own data back to you
- Helping you communicate with your medical team by organizing your context
What coaching is NOT:
- Diagnosing any condition
- Prescribing or modifying medication, supplements, or hormones
- Treating disease, injury, or mental health conditions
- Replacing a registered dietitian for clinical nutrition
- Replacing physical therapy for injury rehabilitation
- Interpreting lab results in a clinical context
4. Lab uploads and biomarker tracking
The Platform's health-marker feature is for coaching context only. Reference ranges shown are general adult ranges from publicly available clinical sources — they are not personalized clinical interpretation. A value flagged "in range" does not mean you are healthy. A value flagged "out of range" does not mean you are sick. Only a licensed physician who knows your full clinical picture can interpret your labs. AI-assisted extraction can misread values; you and your coach must verify every value against the original report before relying on it.
5. Listen to your body — stop if something is wrong
Stop training and seek medical care immediately if you experience: chest pain or pressure, shortness of breath beyond normal exertion, dizziness or fainting, severe or unusual pain, numbness or tingling, sudden swelling, vision changes, irregular heart rhythm, severe headache, or any other warning sign. Do not "push through" pain. Do not assume warning signs are normal training adaptation.
6. Individual results vary
Testimonials, before-and-afters, and case studies are individual experiences and not promises. Genetics, medical history, adherence, sleep, stress, life context, and dozens of other factors influence outcomes. Zero to Hero makes no guarantees about specific physical, performance, body composition, or health results.
7. Emergencies
The Platform is not for emergencies. If you or someone you know is having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US). If you are in crisis or thinking about self-harm, contact the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline (988 in the US) or your local equivalent.
8. Assumption of risk and release
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that fitness training, nutrition changes, and any activity recommended through the Platform carry inherent risks of injury, illness, and in rare cases serious or fatal outcomes. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all such risks. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release Zero to Hero Coaching, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claim arising from your use of the Platform's content, your following of any guidance, or any outcome related to your training, nutrition, supplementation, or health.
9. This disclaimer is part of our Terms
This Disclaimer is incorporated into our Terms of Service and applies anywhere on the Platform. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
